The arctic legion of Nordvrede made its presence on the northern Norwegian battlefield
autumn 2004 as a two-man alliance, consisting of Nekrosoldat (guitar) and Guderian
(drums). The name Nordvrede is Norwegian for northern wrath.
When Nordvrede for the first time spread its commanding propaganda towards christianity
and modern society, the philosophy was to create vindictive art of aggression, anger
and war combined with showing devotions for our majestic surroundings.
The band lived on, producing war-hymns with two permanent members until late autumn
2005, when K.H Horisont joined on bass. A couple of cold winter months later, our lead
guitarist Haerfar and vocalist Iskrig swore allegiance to the legion. With full ranks, heavily
armed with common intentions and dedication, hymn after hymn giving birth to Nordvredes
dark and rageful reflections around sexual assault, war and anti-religious themes, was
spawned forth from the catacombs of Salar.

The re-release of the demo NORTHERN FRONTLINES was unleashed through
Hexenhammer Records (a division of Stellar Winter Records) in 2007. This succeeded the
very limited self-financed release in 2006. The first full-length assault HAMMERPROFETI
came on the 24th of December 2008 on the same label, as an unpleasant surprise to the Jesus-
loving retards worldwide. Work continued during 2009 and 2010, as the legion prepared for
the next full-length. In 2010 K.H.Horisont and Iskrig left Nordvrede.

2011 is going to become another year of majestic audible northern violence, as Nordvrede
through a new contract with Frostscald Records / Hexenhammer Records,
will release the second full-length thrust, called LEGION NORDVREDE.


Nordvrede cherishes the individual right of stating its own opinion.
Nordvrede as a band does not have any political relations.
Nor does Nordvrede play its music based upon any political agenda.
